Vol. 202 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Government Publications Sale Office.

4.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details in regard to the proposed additional accommodation at the Government Publications Sale Office, Vote 9, subhead B, number 16; whether work has begun on the provision of such accommodation; at what date it is expected that it will be completed; and whether it will include greater space for public display of various Government publications.

The accommodation in the Government Publications Sale Office is now inadequate. It has been decided to replan the existing premises and provide additional space in an adjoining shop consisting of ground floor and basement. The scheme will provide extra window display and storage space on the ground floor and extra storage and packing space in the basement. Work has not yet been started and until the precise details of layout have been settled with the Stationery Office, it is not possible to say when the scheme will be completed.
