asked the Taoiseach the amount of (a) beer and (b) spirits imported in each of the last ten years.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the quantity and value of (a) beer (including ale, stout and porter) and (b) spirits, distinguishing the various headings available, imported in each year 1953-1962.

Following is the statement:—
