16.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Health (a) the annual birth rate from 1955 to the latest available year, and (b) the number of maternity deliveries conducted annually by dispensary doctors from 1955 to the latest available year.

The information requested in the first part of the question is in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I shall circulate with the Official Report.

I regret that I am not in a position to supply the information requested in the second part of the question.
