Vol. 203 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kinsale Housing Scheme.

58.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has yet reached a decision with regard to the layout and plans for the erection of ten houses at Cork Street, Kinsale, County Cork, submitted to him by Kinsale Urban District Council; and, if not, if he will take steps to expedite a decision in this matter.

This scheme has been the subject of correspondence with the housing authority and discussion between the Department's inspector and the housing authority's architects. The plans submitted in March did not conform to the Department's standards and revised plans submitted in April have now been considered. The housing authority is being informed of the further comments of the Department's technical advisers.
