Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Galway Fish-Freezing Plant.

86.

asked the Minister for Lands what decisions have been, or are going to be taken, in regard to the fish-freezing plant at Galway Docks.

The fish processing factory at Galway is a going concern playing its part in the development of the fishing industry and decisions in relation to it were fully publicised last year. Proposals for its acquisition were invited and, pending receipt of acceptable proposals from private or co-operative interests, the factory will continue to be operated by An Bord Iascaigh Mhara.
