Vol. 203 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New York World Fair Exhibits.

21.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the number of European countries which have at the present time the firm intention of having a national exhibit at the New York World Fair; and if he will give a list of them.

The latest information from the New York World's Fair Corporation indicates that 12 European countries, including Ireland, will be represented in the International Section of the Fair. The other countries are: Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the Vatican.

I understand that some of these countries may be represented by large-scale industrial interests rather than by direct participation of their Governments.
