Vol. 203 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Social Welfare Contribution Refund.

21.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare why no refund was made in respect of six stamps affixed to the card of a person (name and address supplied) between the 23rd November and 28th December, 1959.

I have had the facts of this case re-examined, and it has been decided to refund the value of the six insurance stamps in question. A form of application for the refund is being sent to the insured person for completion by the employer for whom he worked in the relevant period.

Thank you very much. It took two and a half years to get it back.
