Contracts are in hands for the erection of four new schools in County Sligo-one, Scoil Caitriona Naofa, in Sligo town; and three in the county at Annaghmore, High Park and Carraroe.
Plans are in course of preparation for eleven other cases in the constituency and it is expected that work on most of them will commence during the year. These cases are:—
New Schools—Askill, in County Leitrim; Tubbercurry, Achonry, Killeenduff, Cloonloo and Keash, in County Sligo.
Major Improvement Schemes—Diffreen and Drumlease, in County Leitrim; and Kilmactigue, Annagh and Gleneaskey, in County Sligo.
