Vol. 203 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Skerries (Dublin) Stamp Machines.

55.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs why the stamp vending machines at Skerries post office, County Dublin were out of order on 13th June last; and if steps will be taken to ensure that the machines are kept in operational condition and adequately supplied with stamps in future, particularly during the holiday season.

The stamp-vending machines at Skerries Post Office were rendered unusable on 13th June by the insertion of toffee papers, match sticks, and base coins in the apertures. The machines were restored to working order early on the following day.

Every endeavour is made to ensure that the machines are kept in good working order.
