Vol. 204 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Waterford Camping Plots.

30.

asked the Minister for Local Government if the appeals of those people in Dunmore and Tramore, County Waterford, whose applications for licences under Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948, to use plots adjoining their houses for camping have been refused by the County Manager, have yet been considered; and, if not, when it is expected that these appeals will be dealt with.

Nine appeals against the refusal of Waterford County Council to grant licences permitting the use of land for camping in Dunmore and Tramore are under consideration, in consultation with the sanitary authority, as required by the terms of Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948. They will be determined as soon as possible.
