asked the Minister for Finance what are the names of the Civil Service staff associations recognised by him under Section 6 (3) (c) of the Trade Union Act, 1941.

These civil service staff associations have been recognised by the Minister for Finance as representing grades for the purposes of the scheme of conciliation and arbitration for the Civil Service or as representing grades which are outside the scope of that scheme. A Civil Service staff association recognised by the Minister for Finance is an "excepted body" for the purposes of Section 6 of the Trade Union Act, 1941.
