Vol. 205 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tramore Garda Station.

133.

asked the Minister for Justice what is the position regarding the proposed new Garda station at Tramore, County Waterford.

The erection of a new Garda station and three houses for married members at this centre has been approved. A site was selected, but before the legal formalities were completed the local authority asked that the location be reconsidered in relation to development plans for Tramore. Alternative sites have been suggested, and the Commissioners of Public Works are at present reexamining the position.
