asked the Minister for Local Government (a) the number of proposals for the approval of cottage building sites submitted to him from the Wexford County Council during the present year; (b) the date on which each proposal was submitted; and (c) the date on which each of his decisions was sent to the Council.

Proposals for the acquisition of sites for 17 cottages have been received from Wexford County Council in the present financial year. Of these, proposals for four sites were received on 2nd April. The remainder were individual proposals for single sites, of which three were received on 12th September, three on 1st October, two on 4th October, two on 14th October, and one on each of the dates 6th August, 16th September and 17th October.
The proposals received on 2nd April were approved by me on 21st October. The remaining proposals are the subject of correspondence with the county council or are under examination in the Department.
