Vol. 205 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rosses (Donegal) Kiosk and Letter Box.

92.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the density of population in the Cruckamore, Leckenagh, Meenmore, and Acres areas of the Rosses, West Donegal, he will instal a telephone kiosk at or near the former Dungloe road railway station to facilitate the residents of those areas.

The use likely to be made of a kiosk at the place in question would not be sufficient to warrant its provision.

93.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will now reconsider his decision and erect a letter box at The Rampart, near Meenmore national school, South Dungloe, County Donegal and facilitate the residents of the area.

I propose to provide a letter box at Meenmore School on a trial basis. The question of its retention there, permanently, will be decided in the light of the use made of it.
