asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received proposals from Kerry County Council for the erection of six cottages at Ballyseedy, Tralee and, if so, if he will state the cause of delay in giving the necessary approval for their erection.

The Kerry County Council were asked in July last to reconsider their proposal to build six unserviced cottages on a site at Ballyseedy with a view to providing fully serviced cottages instead. Their reply is awaited.

38.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received proposals from Kerry County Council for the erection of cottages at Ballybunion; and if so, if he will state the cause of the delay in giving the necessary approval for their erection.

Layout and house plans for a scheme of eight houses at Ballybunion, which were received in the Department on 28th September last, have been under examination by my technical advisers. The housing authority is now being informed that these documents are in order, subject to certain minor amendments.
