Vol. 206 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Report on Itinerancy.

51.

asked the Minister for Local Government (1) when it is expected that the examination of the Report on Itinerancy will have been completed by Government Departments; (2) when the Government will have concluded its examination; and (3) whether their decision will be made available in the form of a White Paper or by legislation, and, if so, when.

As regards part (1) of the question, examination of the report by my Department and by the other Departments concerned is proceeding. I cannot at this stage say when this examination will be finished. In the circumstances I am unable to forecast the dates requested at parts (2) and (3) of the question.
