Vol. 206 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Conditions in St. Kevin's (Dublin) Hospital.

7.

asked the Minister for Health whether he received a complaint regarding conditions in St. Kevin's Hospital from a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have not received any complaint whatsoever from the person referred to.

In view of the doubt and anxiety which a previous question on this subject raised, would the Minister not consider on this occasion making a more comprehensive inquiry? The previous question gave rise to a good deal of adverse criticism about an institution that is giving first-class service. If the Minister has any notes on it, he should clear up the matter once and for all in relation to the services in St. Kevin's.

I doubt if the Minister has any doubts about the first-class service being given by this institution. Therefore, he did not elaborate in the reply.
