Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee Employment and Emergency Schemes.

2.

asked the Minister for Finance (a) the amount of Employment and Emergency Schemes vote granted to Tralee urban district this year; (b) the date on which schemes for this grant were received by his Department; (c) the date on which they were sanctioned; and (d) what is the present position.

The 1963/64 employment schemes grant for Tralee urban district is £4,300. There is also a local contribution of £480 making a total proposed expenditure of £4,780. A scheme for this amount was submitted to the special Employment Schemes Office by the Department of Local Government on 15th November, and was sanctioned on 20th November, 1963. It now rests with the urban district council to put the work in hands at a suitable date.
