Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage of County Dublin River.

18.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in commencing drainage work on the Matt River near Balbriggan, County Dublin; if he will indicate the estimated cost; and how long it will take to complete the proposed drainage work.

A tender has been accepted for the execution of the work on the Matt River and it is expected that the works will commence shortly. The cost of the scheme including overheads, is estimated at £18,000. A year is allowed for completion of the works.
