Vol. 206 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ringsend (Dublin) School.

41.

asked the Minister for Education the date on which the proposal to build a new primary school at Ringsend, Dublin was first submitted to his Department.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply to a question tabled by him on 20th February, 1963. The information which he now seeks was given in that reply.

Would the Minister not agree that the delay which has taken place in replacing this completely disgraceful and scandalous building for these unfortunate children is unduly long and that he should take steps in order to expedite the provision of proper schools?

I would not agree.

If the Minister were to see the school, he would make certain that children would not have to go to it.
