asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give immediate sanction to the carrying out of the extension of the water supply to Garoon, Mountmellick, so that Laois County Council can carry out the work without delay; and if he will treat this matter as one of urgency in view of the fact that this is partly a newly developed residential area on which a number of new houses nearing completion are held up pending the extension of the water supply.
