Vol. 207 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 10, Votes 30, 23, 24, 28 and 43. Private Members' Business will be taken between 6 and 7.30 p.m.

Could the Taoiseach conveniently tell me when it is proposed to take the Committee Stage of the Land Bill?

Possibly the week after next, but I gather the Whips will be meeting today to discuss the arrangement of business.

It had already been arranged to take it this week. We asked to have it adjourned from last week.

I gather that there was a provisional arrangement.

Either things are arranged by the Whips or they are not. If the arrangements they make are only provisional, there is no point in their meeting.

Are we sitting next week on Tuesday?

We propose to ask the Dáil to meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week.

Is it proposed to take the Vote on Account?

Yes, next week.

In what portion of next week?

On Tuesday. I should expect it to take the whole week. I think that probably we shall get agreement to complete it.

Are we going to continue with the old Estimates?

That is a matter I should like the Whips to discuss.

You say their arrangement is only provisional, so I assume you would shoot it down when it came back to you.
