asked the Minister for Finance what is the present priority list of rivers for arterial drainage; and what changes, if any, have been made in this priority list over the last few years.

The priority lists of major and minor catchments were published in the Official Report of 7th February, 1963 (Vol. 199, No. 9, Columns 1251 and 1252). There have been no changes in the lists in the past few years.

asked the Minister for Finance what arterial drainage works were let on contract by the Office of Public Works in the last two years, and on what rivers; the amount of each contract and the name of each contractor; and if they were publicly advertised in each case.

Three arterial drainage works were let to contract after public advertisement by the Commissioners of Public Works in the last two years as follows:—
