Accounts in respect of the expenses of the issue of the £25 million of 5¾ per cent Exchequer Stock in the Autumn of 1963 have not yet been completed. The total cost of floating the issue is, however, estimated at £157,600 of which £147,300 represents underwriting and brokerage commissions and £10,300 other expenses including the cost of advertising.
