Vol. 207 No. 8

Supplementary Estimates, 1963-64— Leave to Introduce.

Leave granted to introduce the following Supplementary Estimates for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1964, namely:—
1 (President's Establishment),
9 (Public Works and Buildings),
12 (Civil Service Commission),
20 (Stationery Office).
(The Taoiseach).
Ordered: That the Supplementary Estimates be taken on Tuesday, 25th February, 1964.

Will the Minister for Finance be here?

Of course, he will be here.

He is like Boyle Roche's Bird.

The House will not be sitting at all next week. You had a bad canvass in Naas. Yesterday the Minister for Justice went down to conduct a canvass——

I won over two of your most solid supporters.

They were probably frozen with the cold.

I heard about the way the Minister was thrown out of four houses and told to go and mind his business.

They were the nicest people I ever canvassed.

We are very polite in Naas.
