Vol. 207 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 3, 10 and 11—Votes 52, 52 and 43.

Is the Taoiseach in a position to tell us what business will be done tomorrow?

I shall communicate with the Deputy.

Could the Taoiseach tell us when the Book of Estimates will be published?

I cannot say when the Book of Estimates will be published but, in accordance with the arrangement we made, some Estimates will be circulated within the next day or two for consideration in advance of the publication of the Book of Estimates.

The Book of Estimates is usually published in the first or second week in March.

It will appear about the 10th of March.

Is it too early to ask when the Budget proposals will be introduced?

We have not decided that.

If these Estimates are to be taken next week, will they be published immediately?

They will be available tomorrow—Defence, Army Pensions and Social Welfare.

I have already indicated a view about Defence.

These are Estimates made available in advance of the publication of the Book of Estimates.
