Vol. 208 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Five Day Week for Forestry Workers.

37.

asked the Minister for Lands when he proposes to implement the forty-five hour, five-day week in respect of forestry workers, having regard to the fact that all county council labourers and other public servants do not work more than a forty-five hour week.

This matter is at present the subject of further examination by my Department and if the Deputy would repeat his inquiry in three or four weeks' time, I may be in a position to let him have my decision on the matter.
