asked the Minister for Finance the number of civil servants employed in his Department as at 31st March, 1964, distinguishing between the various grades; and if he will give comparable statistics as at 31st March, 1945.

The information sought by the Deputy is set out in a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
