Written Answers. - Forestry and Land Commission Workers.
It is proposed to increase the basic wage rates of Forestry and Land Commission adult male labourers by 12 per cent with a floor of £1 per week with effect as from 1st February, 1964. The new basic weekly wage rates will be 166/- in County Dublin, 160/- in Counties Kildare and Wicklow and 155/- in all other counties. New rates for other workers in the employment of the Forestry Division and the Land Commission will be settled separately.
