Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Insurability of Irish Employees of US Government.

65.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether an Irish civilian citizen employed by the Government of the United States of America (a) in Ireland and (b) abroad, in employment which would normally be insurable under Irish Acts, is, in fact, insurable under such Acts.

An Irish civilian citizen employed by the Government of the United States of America in employment which would normally be insurable under the Social Welfare Acts, is insurable under those Acts if he is employed in Ireland, and is not if he is employed abroad.
