Vol. 208 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Jams and Jellies.

14.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will take steps to control the price of jams and jellies.

As already announced on the radio and in the public Press, I have established a Prices Advisory Committee to inquire into and report to me on the prices charged for jams and marmalades by the manufacturers thereof and the methods of marketing jams and marmalades. I have received no complaints regarding the price of jellies.
