asked the Minister for Finance the amount that a married man with two children under eleven years of age with no unearned income would have available to spend after paying income tax and surtax at the rates in force for 1964-65, if his earned income was £1,000, £1,500, £2,000, £2,500, £3,000, £4,000 and £5,000 respectively.

The figures for 1964-65 are the same as the corresponding ones for 1963-64 which were given in reply to Question No. 124 on Wednesday last (Official Report, Volume 208, Column 1233).
