asked the Minister for Local Government what is the up-to-date position with regard to the progress of the Ardfinnan regional water supply scheme, County Tipperary.

Contract documents for stage 1 of the scheme were approved on 3rd February last subject to incorporation of agreed amendments. Revised documents are being prepared. Compulsory purchase proceedings are being initiated by the Council for the acquisition of land for the reservoir.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the up-to-date position with regard to the Dundrum regional water supply scheme, County Tipperary.

On 18th March, 1964, the Compulsory Purchase Order for the acquisition of the necessary lands was confirmed and the application for a Provisional Order for water rights was granted. Final contract documents for the scheme are being prepared by the council's consulting engineer.
