Vol. 209 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Owenmore-Arrow Catchment Drainage.

7.

asked the Minister for Finance (a) when the survey of the Owenmore-Arrow catchment area started, (b) when it is expected that the survey will be completed, and (c) the area of agricultural land affected by flooding in this catchment area.

The survey of the Owenmore catchment area started last July. The survey will not be completed for about another three years. It is expected that a minimum of 10,000 acres of damaged land in the catchment would benefit from a comprehensive drainage scheme.
