asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that there is considerable pollution of the Rivers Glyde and Dee; and what action he proposes to take to remedy the matter.

Some pollution of the Rivers Glyde and Dee has recently been experienced and the Dundalk Board of Conservators, which is the body charged with protection of the fisheries in the area, is dealing with the problems and receiving guidance from my Department.
