The total amount standing to credit of the CIE superannuation scheme for wages grade employees, as at 31st December, 1963, the latest date for which figures are available, was £3,794,436. Of this amount £3,627,597 was invested in Irish Trustee Stocks, £29,829 in British Trustee Stocks and the balance of £137,010 was made up of bank deposit and current accounts and certain amounts due to the fund on the date in question.
