asked the Minister for Lands if the Foyle Fisheries Commission maintain a staffed office in the Republic as provided for in the Foyle Fisheries Act; and what rent they pay for it.

The Foyle Fisheries Commission has an office at Ballindrait, Lifford, County Donegal, at the residence of a head river watcher. This officer of the Commission is in a position to deal appropriately with any business arising and receives no special allowance for rent.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state in relation to the Foyle Fisheries Commission how many (1) river watchers, (2) head river watchers, (3) inspectors, and (4) office staff are paying national health contributions in (a) the Republic and (b) Northern Ireland; and what are the respective benefits payable by each Government in the event of any of the above personnel becoming unemployed because of sickness or some other reason.

As the information requested is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated in the Official Report.
