Vol. 210 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tuam (Galway) Clinic.

7.

asked the Minister for Health what is the position regarding the proposed clinic for Tuam, County Galway; and if he can yet intimate when it is expected that work will commence on it.

Developed sketch plans for the new clinic at Tuam and associated engineering documents were received in my Department from the local health authority only on 30th May last. These plans have been approved by my Department and the health authority are now in a position to instruct their consultants to proceed with the preparation of contract documents in connection with the invitation of tenders. I understand that these necessary preliminaries should be completed within about two months.
