Vol. 210 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin National School Pupils.

38.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of Catholic national schools in the city and county of Dublin the number of pupils on the rolls in each standard; and the number of classes for each standard.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a tabular statement giving the information requested by the Deputy.

Following is the statement:—

(a) Table showing in respect of national schools under Catholic Management in Dublin City and County the number of pupils in each standard on 30th June, 1963

A break down of standards into classes is not possible because in some schools there may be more than one standard in the same class while in other schools there may be more than one class for each standard.
