As Questions Nos.14 to 37 relate to landing facilities in County Galway, I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to take these questions together.

Works on the improvement of Straid Quay, Lettermullen, have been completed.

Improvement works at present in progress at Annaghvane Pier, Bealadangan are expected to be completed in about two months' time.

In the case of the following proposals for works the sites have been surveyed and designs of schemes with estimates of cost will be prepared and transmitted to the sponsoring Departments as soon as possible:

Kilronan, Aran: Extend pier.

Dolan's Pier, Aillebrack: Raise and extend pier.

Pointa Keeraun: Repair and raise quay: raise slipway.

Inishbarra: Raise, extend and widen quay; erect stormwall.

Inishmackenna: Construct new pier.

Barrett's Pier, Ballycally: Repair and widen pier; erect stormwall; remove rock.

Glinsk: Repair, raise and extend pier.

Shruthán Bhui, Turlough: Repair, raise and extend pier.

Site inspections for the following proposals have not yet been carried out. The inspections will be made as soon as possible having regard to staffing conditions and commitments for marine works generally:

Portach, Mynish: Construct new pier.

Kilgavan, Roskeeda: Improve landing space.

Garafin, Rosmuc: Extend and widen pier.

Ardmore, Skannive: Improve shelter.

Keeraun Harbour: Raise pier/ change shape of pier; improve approach.

Laughaunbeg: Construct slipway.

Shrauffaun, Carraroe: Extend and raise pier; deepen alongside.

Sconse, Lettermore: Repair, widen and extend pier.

Shrauffaun Bui, Derreenglass: Remove rock; resurface pier.

Seana-Covus, Gorumna: Widen and resurface pier, remove rock.

Kilkieran: Resurface pier, clear silt, provide two leading lights.

Ros, Lettercallow: Construct quay.

Moyross, Knockboy: Extend and widen pier, remove rock, deepen harbour.

Paddy Jack's Quay, Furnace Island: Improve stormwall and quay.
