The value of fuel used in the road freight and passenger vehicles of CIE during the Board's financial year is shown in the Board's annual accounts which are presented to the Oireachtas. The figures for 1963/64 will be shown in the accounts for that year when published in about two months' time; the corresponding figures for gallonage are not available to me and, in any event, I would not disclose that information as the price they pay for diesel oil is confidential to CIE.
