asked the Minister for Agriculture the estimated Exchequer payments of subsidy and export loss on Irish creamery butter and other milk products during the financial year 1964-65, based on figures for production, export and prices now available, and estimations of such to the end of the financial year.

It is estimated that the Exchequer payments of subsidies on milk and milk products in the financial year 1964/65, will amount to £8,896,000, of which £3,180,000 will be paid to An Bord Bainne in respect of losses and subsidies on exports of creamery butter and other milk products and £5,716,000 will be paid to creameries in respect of the Exchequer milk price allowance.
