Vol. 212 No. 6

Order of Business.

Business, as set out on the Order Paper, will be taken as follows: No. 10, Vote 41, and No. 11. Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m.

I wish to give notice of my intention, with the permission of the Chair, to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 30 on yesterday's Order Paper.

I shall communicate with the Deputy in the course of the forenoon.

Does the Taoiseach want to make any Order about getting in? I presume he does not want to be squeezed out until 4.55 p.m.?

Would 4 o'clock be suitable?

Shall we say not later than 4 o'clock?

Is there a possibility that the debate will continue?

It may not, and that is why we have also ordered the Land Bill.

It is always as well to cover eventualities. If the Taoiseach had covered eventualities, we would not be facing this debate.

I think it quite likely that this debate may end. Is it necessary to pass a resolution that if the debate has not concluded, the Taoiseach will be called upon to reply at 4 o'clock?

I think it is agreed.
