Vol. 212 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rathfarnham (Dublin) Electricity Voltage.

22.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he will explain the low voltage which so many of the residents in Butterfield Drive, Butterfield Park and Butterfield Crescent, Rathfarnham, County Dublin, complain about.

I have had inquiries made from the Electricity Supply Board regarding this matter. The Board have informed me that they are not aware of any general complaints of low voltage from residents in these areas. However, arising from the construction of a new housing scheme, a new sub-station has been commissioned recently in Owendore Avenue and the Board assures me that this should have the effect of eliminating any such difficulties in the area.

I am glad the Minister for Transport and Power is answering questions.

He is not.

He has handed it over to somebody. He was ashamed to come in to answer a question. He had to get the Minister for Industry and Commerce to answer it.
