Vol. 212 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - British Income Tax Recovered by Irish Residents.

21.

asked the Minister for Finance the amount of United Kingdom tax recovered by residents in the country on Forms K.1 in the last period of twelve months for which figures are available.

A separate total of British income tax repayable on foot of K.1 claims is not available. Statistics are, however, compiled showing the combined total of net income receivable by Irish residents plus the British income tax repayable. For the year 1963-64 this amounted to £16,567,000.
