Vol. 213 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Flooding.

42.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the serious damage to arable land in the Edeninfagh area of Glenties, County Donegal by the flooding of the Owenea river; and, if so, what steps are being taken to alleviate the damage.

The Owenea Catchment is No. 28 on the published priority list of Minor Catchments to be dealt with under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. It will be taken in its turn but I cannot say at present when it can be reached in the drainage programme.
