The preparation of an index to the Rules of the Superior Courts was undertaken by the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for Ireland. The completed index, which has the approval of the Superior Courts Rules Committee, was received in my Department in July last and arrangements have been made to have it printed as a matter of urgency.
The index will be incorporated in a new edition of the Rules themselves. In order to meet the special needs of persons already in possession of copies of the original edition, it will also be published separately. Priority will be given to this latter publication and I hope that it will be available early in the new year.
