Vol. 215 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballyfermot (Dublin) Pedestrian Crossings.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of any proposal to provide pedestrian crossings in Ballyfermot, Dublin; and, if so, if he will state the position in regard to it.

The provision of pedestrian crossings is a matter primarily for the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána and the road authority. Proposals in the matter come before me only when a grant from the Road Fund is sought. I have no application for such a grant in respect of Ballyfermot.
