Vol. 215 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Untrained National Teachers.

62.

asked the Minister for Education if he will take steps to institute a system, in agreement with the appropriate teachers' organisations, whereby untrained national teachers who have completed a number of years satisfactory service will be regarded as trained and will be paid accordingly.

Claims and proposals relating to the salaries of national teachers in general, or of particular categories of national teachers, are dealt with exclusively through the scheme of Conciliation and Arbitration for these teachers.
