Vol. 215 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Farm.

23.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the acreage of the farm recently sold at Kilfrush, Hospital, County Limerick; by whom it was purchased; if the Land Commission negotiated for the purchase of this farm for division; and, if not, why.

The Land Commission have had no proceedings in this matter. The lands to which the Deputy presumably refers comprise a stud farm of about 346 acres. This property was not on offer to the Land Commission or open to compulsory proceedings under the Land Acts. The Land Commission, therefore, are unable to give particulars of any change of ownership which may be pending.
